Meet Pastors Matt & Jeannie Purkey
Pastors Matt and Jeannie have been in ministry for over 25 years, serving in various roles and witnessing the transformative power of God in the lives of individuals and communities. After a season of prayer and direction from the Lord, they felt called to step into a new chapter—planting Kairos Church in Kansas City.

Matt and Jeannie are passionate about seeing people encounter the love of Jesus in real, tangible ways. They believe that the local church is the hope of the world and are excited to create a place where people can grow, connect, and walk in their God-given purpose.

Kairos Church was founded in December 2025 by Pastors Matt and Jeannie Purkey, with a vision to create a welcoming, Christ-centered community in the heart of Kansas City. Our mission is simple: to share the hope of Jesus and help people grow in their relationship with Him.
